Beware of food poisoning in summer! Ylli Merja: Here is a natural herbal remedy that treats poisoning

How to protect yourself from food poisoning. What are the routes from which the bacteria are taken as well as simple natural methods for healing

In the column “Plants and Health” in the morning show “Rreze Dielli” on Report TV with the specialist of medicinal plants Ylli Merja we talked about food poisoning in the summer season. As temperatures rise during the summer season, the risk of food poisoning increases. Food poisoning occurs by eating or drinking food that is contaminated with viruses, bacteria, toxins, parasites, or toxic chemicals. Not always this happens from spoiled food. We can be poisoned by foods that seem very good but have not been stored properly. According to Merja, some of the ways bacteria are taken are:

· When an animal product comes out of the freezer and stays for a long time on the restaurant table, but also at home

· The presence of flies in the kitchen

· From not washing hands properly when a kitchen employee goes to the toilet

· When the eggs stay for a long time without being put in the refrigerator

· When any food is recycled

· When tomatoes stay in crates for a long time and can develop mold

Bacteria that cause food poisoning in summer are mainly found in animal products, undercooked meat, processed meats, crudo seafood, milk, water, eggs, tomatoes, salad, unwashed hands.

Ylli Merja recommends plants that cleanse toxins from the body and a very efficient natural method for healing from poisoning:

· Prepare 05 liters of tea with 2 tablespoons of cranberry and 1-2 tablespoons of mint. This tea is drunk in 2-3 sips.

· After 5-6 hours of drinking 250-300 ml of tea with 2-3 sips, drink 1 glass of yogurt with 1 tablespoon of starch. Also an apple or a ripe quince is very good for relaxation.

· After the vomiting and diarrhea stop, consume a soup with rice and lemon.

· In the following days, we use teas with mint, forest fruits, propolis with oregano or gastromer tea.
